Zephyrmedia was recently commissioned to produce the design and pre-press work for a 150 page infrastructure report for the research centre – State of the Tropics based at James Cook University.

Our Approach
The report covered a wide variety of tropical infrastructure areas so needed a simple system of colour coding to help the reader quickly navigate these sections. We also employed a simple 2 column layout to keep the overall length of the report to a minimum and help with the visibility of graphs scattered through the report. All graphs were tidied up in Adobe Illustrator to ensure best printing result with a series of high resolution photos used throughout the report similarly tweaked to produce best results.
The result is a professional document presented to world-wide NGO organisations to help understand the current position countries located in tropical locations are in, when looking at infrastructure in energy, water, transport, information communication and human settlements.
